This flower is inspired by the borjgali. Borjgali is an ancient Georgian symbol of the Sun and eternity often depicted with seven rotating wings.


The seven wings are often said to symbolize the continuity between the past, present, and future. Historically, it has been used as an apotropaic symbol, meaning it was thought to have protective qualities.

The Borjgali appears on everything from national emblems and currency to merchandise, reflecting its deep connection to Georgian heritage.
